Ananda Marga : Elementary Philosophy

This was the first-published of the more than 250 books of Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti, and continues to hold its place as an introduction to his entire philosophy. Its speciality is the use of formal, though simple, logic to make an utterly convincing case for the existence of Supreme Consciousness and the need of spiritual practice

Ánanda Sútram

Ánanda Sútram means “aphorisms leading to ánanda, divine bliss.” The sútra form has been valued over the centuries as a powerful tool for communicating a deep philosophy in a condensed, memorable way. In the best traditions of sútra literature, the eighty-five sútras of this book serve, with breathtaking conciseness, as a framework for the entire Ananda Marga ideology.

Idea and Ideology

Like no other book, but rather like spiritual practice itself, Idea and Ideology methodically, in a careful sequence, expands the reader’s horizons and mind. It concludes by using the spiritual vantage that has been gained to focus on the social problems of the earth.

Jiivan Veda: A Guide to Human Conduct

Herein the author explains Yama and Niyama, traditionally-accepted cardinal principles of morality, in a modern way, and at the same time places those principles on a clear scientific basis. The reader will learn that ancient teachings of self-control and selfless conduct stem in fact from the deepest understandings of human psychology, and are keys to the release of the highest human potentials.

Subháśita Samgraha (Twenty Five volumes)

The Subhásita Samgraha and Ananda Marga Ideology and Way of Life series constitute two different arrangements of the major spiritual discourses of Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti (known as Dharma Mahácakra, or DMC, discourses).

Ánanda Vacanámrtam 1-34 Volumes

The Ánanda Vacanámrtam (“Blissful Discourses”) series assembles all the known General Darshan discourses given by Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti. General Darshan (GD) discourses were those given to Ananda Marga members, often as a part of the daily routine, in whatever locality Ánandamúrtijii happened to be staying at the time.

Tattva Kaomudii

This book is a compilation of discourses and question and answer sessions given by Shrii Shrii Anandamurti, the founder of the socio-spiritual movement Ananda Marga. Most were given in the early years of the organization in order to instruct disciples on the basics and specialties of Ananda Marga philosophy, and should be read in that context.

Namah Shiváya Shántáya

Shiva the historical personality has long been lost to view, hidden under layer upon layer of myth. Here the author removes the veils of seven thousand years of time to reveal Shiva the great spiritualist, Shiva the humanitarian, Shiva the pioneer of arts and science.

Namámi Krśńa Sundaram

The exercise of comparing one philosophy to another is a difficult intellectual task, but there are many precedents for it. This book attempts something perhaps unprecedented — comparing a philosophy to a personality. Here the author has compared not just one philosophy, but at least ten, to the life and personality of Lord Krsna. The author sets out the two distinct facets of Lord Krsna’s personality: Vraja Krsna, the lord of devotion, and Párthasárathi Krsna, the lord of karma yoga, ceaselessly engaged in the battle against injustice.

Discourses on Krśńa and Giitá

Krsna, the Mahabharata, the Bhagavad Giita and many shlokas (couplets) from the Giita figured prominently in the discourses of Shrii Shrii Anandamurti throughout a lifetime of spiritual teaching. Discourses on Krsna and the Giita is designed to complement Discourses on the Mahabharata and Namami Krsnasundaram ?

Ánanda Márga Ideology and way of Life: Part I II

The Subhásita Samgraha and Ananda Marga Ideology and Way of Life series constitute two different arrangements of the major spiritual discourses of Shrii Shrii Ánandamúrti (known as Dharma Mahácakra, or DMC, discourses).
